In 2015, the English Ministry began cooperating with the Pearl Family Garden to help reach out to marginalized women in Wan Hua, Taipei. Our aim is to share the gospel with women involved in street prostitution, “tea shops”, or KTVs, and to improve their safety and well-being. We work with social services and NGOs to provide practical assistance and training to women who want to leave the sex trade. We also serve other low-income women in the community through a unique income-generating handicraft project.
We are working hard to make sure this ministry will become a stepping stone to allow the Pearl and the English Ministry to reach out to women on the margins of society and to include them in the body of Christ.
