CareCellsIn a big church like the EM, it can be hard to make friends or get to know people. You might be thinking, “How can I build up a network of friends that spend time together, help each other to grow in faith, and support each other during the week?

That’s where our small groups, our EM “Care Cells”, can help!

Care Cells are a great opportunity to meet other people, to grow in Christ together, and to serve the church and our local community.

Each Care Cell is a friendly group of 5 to 12 members who meet once per week to chat, read the Bible, and get to know and encourage each other. Care Cells are also our first line teams for helping with church activities and outreach programs.

There are Care Cell meetings most days, so come and find one that is right for you! For more information, see the list below or contact the EM secretary at

“Bethel”, Meets Friday nights. Leaders: Luc and Hsingyu
Bethel is a close-knit group of friendly people who gather on Friday nights. Most members are young professionals and we usually spend time singing and reading the Bible together. Besides our regular Fridays, we often organise fun activities on weekends, which help us strengthen our friendships. Since we aim to create family-like relationships, we meet at group member’s homes. If you are interested in joining us and building great relationships, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
